Investing in Innovation
Our primary partners are small to medium enterprises, typically with 25 to 500 employees, that seek expertise, access to equipment, or assistance with complex, high-risk projects. Each project is tailored to help your organization achieve its business goals. Project costs typically range from $20,000 to $120,000 per year, though smaller pilot projects may be possible with the support of our funding partners. These partners can offset 50% to 75% of project costs if the project qualifies for an applied research collaboration.
Federal grants focus on applied research and innovation, often covering costs for both private and public sector partners. Provincial grants, geared toward commercialization, are ideal for SMEs looking to accelerate product development. For organizations ineligible for grants or unable to wait for funding timelines, we also offer a fee-for-service model.
