Are you looking to amplify the impact of your research or spark new collaborations in your field? IDEAWORKS at Mohawk College is pleased to announce a new funding stream designed specifically to support knowledge mobilization and research dissemination.
Through the SSHRC Institutional Grants (SIG) program, IDEAWORKS will offer two Exchange Grants annually until 2028. These grants are tailored for faculty members working within the social sciences and humanities whose work aligns with the mandate of the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC).
Support for Your Research Journey
The IDEAWORKS Exchange Grants provide financial assistance for activities that bridge the gap between academic research and real-world impact. Funding is available for:
- Knowledge Mobilization: Organize small-scale activities, such as workshops and seminars, to encourage collaboration and disseminate results both within and beyond the academic community.
- Scholarly Presentations: Gain support to present research at conferences or other dissemination venues, helping support career growth and exchange ideas at a national or international level.
Why Apply?
These grants are a strategic investment in research excellence. By providing the resources to present and network, the program aims to help faculty strengthen their research profiles and foster meaningful connections that lead to future innovation.
