Are you planning a research project at Mohawk College? Navigating the ethical considerations of a project is a crucial step in the process, and you don’t have to do it alone.
The Research Ethics Board (REB) is pleased to announce its upcoming virtual Office Hours for Spring 2026. These drop-in sessions are designed to support faculty, staff, and student researchers.
Whether you’re new to the process or have specific questions about your submission, these drop-in office hours offer one-on-one support from REB members. Sessions will be held virtually during Spring 2026.
What is the REB?
The Research Ethics Board (REB) is an independent committee that reviews research projects to ensure they comply with ethical standards set by the Tri-Council Policy Statement: Ethical Conduct for Research Involving Humans (TCPS 2).
If your research involves interviews, surveys, human testing, or the collection of personal data, you are required to submit an REB application before beginning your research.
