  • Health & Safety/WHMIS
  • Human Rights, Equity, and Inclusion
  • IT Cyber Security Awareness Training

Mohawk College has a number of applied research capstone courses. Enrolling in one of these courses is a great way to gain applied research experience outside of an IDEAWORKS research centre. Many of our researchers collaborate closely with faculty to support these courses.

Mitacs fosters collaboration between academia, government, and the public and private sectors to support innovation. Mitacs supports internship opportunities for students through their Business Strategy Internship Program and through Accelerate.

Mohawk students have two ways to take part in a Mitac’s supported project: As a co-op student, you may be able to self-source a Mitacs-funded co-op opportunity. All Mitacs-funded opportunities must be pre-approved by your Co-op specialist. As a Mohawk student, Mitacs-funded research assistant positions may be available through existing IDEAWORKS research collaborations. Available postings will be posted in CareerReady.
